• Understand facts about fentanyl in the U.S.
• Recognize the increasing overdose risk
• Learn resources for communities

• Understand that fentanyl is a synthetic opioid, 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine
• Understand that synthetic opioids are now the most common drugs involved in drug overdoses in the United States
• Gain awareness of the prevalence of counterfeit pills laced with heroin, made to look like oxycodone, hydrocodone, and alprazolam.
