JCOIN Webinar | Advancing Health Equity: Conducting Addiction Research with Racial/Ethnic Minoritized Populations
Dr. LaTrice Montgomery, a Research Associate Professor and Licensed Clinical Psychologists at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, will discuss the importance of conducting addiction research with racial and ethnic minoritized populations. Dr. Montgomery will provide strategies for conducting effective research with populations that experience disparities in addiction treatment, such as Black adolescents and adults, and will highlight specific research examples from her work on cannabis and tobacco use and co-use (blunts) among Black young adults.
